YIT Ehitus formed a subsidiary, YIT Betoonitööd OÜ, active in concrete and assembly works

Starting from 23rd October YIT Ehitus AS has a subsidiary named YIT Betoonitööd OÜ.

„YIT Ehitus AS has had a concrete and assembly works unit already since year 2000,” informed Taavi Varb, the Management Board Member of YIT Betoonitööd OÜ. After being made a subsidiary YIT Betoonitööd OÜ became a separate company executing concrete and assembly works with own workforce. The new name, YIT Betoonitööd OÜ, separates the company clearly from the parent company, YIT Ehitus, which is focused on real estate development and project management. YIT Betoonitööd OÜ executes concrete and assembly works to companies in the YIT Group, but our objective is to offer the services also to other companies active on the construction market. We believe, belonging to YIT Group raises the trustworthiness of YIT Betoonitööd OÜ, which, in today’s economic environment is very important to our partners in order to feel sure the works will be executed with high quality and on time.”

Taavi Varb, the Management Board Member of YIT Betoonitööd OÜ, says the company currently employs 70 Concrete Works Specialists and the works by the team have repeatedly been acknowledged with the annual award of Best Concrete Construction in Estonia.

• Concrete frame and element monolith works at Latokartanno schoolhouse, in Helsinki (2008)
• Concrete frame of VKG utilization plant in Kohtla-Järve (2008)
• Apartment house at Kuldigas 37/39, in Riga (2007-2008)
• Extension to Pärnu Central Library (2008)
• Shopping centre TASKU in Tartu (2007-2008)
